National Amputee Awareness Week October 4 – 11

A booking for the Sydney Harbour Bridge Discover Climb has been secured for public holiday Monday the 4^th of October at 11:40am.

 

This event is open to all members as well as family and friends. There are only 14 places available so get in fast as bookings will need to be secured and paid very soon.

 

You will need to have a moderate level of fitness and be confident in climbing stairs. The duration of the climb is approx 3 hours and there are many stairs but no ladders. Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb policies regarding participants will be in effect; therefore all amputees who wish to attend will need to be considered individually and in line with these policies. Further information regarding this will be provided on application.

Full details of the event including transport arrangements and payment information will be sent to you as soon as your booking request is received. Final bookings will be confirmed once payment is received and will be on a first in first served basis.

The cost of this event is $200.00 per person.

 

The Bridge Climb isn’t your thing; don’t feel left out… come along on the day and join us for a pre climb picnic at one of Sydney Harbour Foreshores beautiful locations, First Fleet Park, located just a short walk from Circular Quay train station. Bring along a picnic and folding chair and cheer on those that will be doing the climb as well as help celebrate National Amputee Awareness Week.
